Find us

If you are planning to visit us in the Chemistry Research Laboratory, here in Oxford, then just pick one of the links below to go to a handy map appropriate for you. The Chemistry Research Laboratory (CRL) is located on South Parks Road, adjacent to Mansfield road, in central Oxford.

By car

If you are arriving by car there are poor parking facilities in central Oxford but you can park at one of the Park and Ride car parks and catch one of the frequent buses into the centre.

By train

Oxford is connected by regular trains to other major cities. To find out train times, please visit The National Rail Website. From the station you can walk (using the map below), which takes approximately 15 minutes.

Alternatively, you can take a taxi, which depart from just outside the station. There are currently no convienient local bus services which serve the science area.

By bus

Oxford can be reached by cross-country bus services run by National Express. From the centre of London, the Oxford tube and Oxford Bus Company run regular services to Oxford departing from Baker Street, Marble Arch and Victoria.

By air

The nearest airports to Oxford are the London airports, or Birmingham International. The Oxford Bus Company runs direct buses between Heathrow and Gatwick.
